The name Glenn Smith is well known in the showrooms of North America. His performances constantly create excitement and regularly inspire standing ovations. The late Walter Kane, entertainment director for all of the Howard Hughes Hotels in Nevada is quoted as saying, "In all of the years I have spent buying and watching talent, I have seen no finer performer than our own Glenn Smith." (Glenn was exclusively with the Howard Hughes chain for six years, appearing in both the main rooms and lounges of the Desert Inn, Sands, and Frontier hotels. He later moved over to Harrah's where he starred in the showroom for four years.


A dynamic performer, musician and singer, Glenn Smith has an impressive array of credits.
Born in Toronto, Canada, Glenn started performing in nightclubs at the age of fifteen. At seventeen he was in New York playing the hottest nightspots with people like Jimi Hendricks and believe it or not Joe Peshe. By the age of nineteen he was starring in the enterainment mecca of the world, Las Vegas, Nevada. In those days Glenn spent a minimum of nine months a year performing alongside such legends as Wayne Newton.


Later on he shared the stage with such stars as Bill Cosby, Don Rickles, Foster Brooks, Gladys Knight, Kenny Rogers, Juliet Prowse, Norm Crosby, Joan Rivers, Robert Goulet, Ann Margaret, Tony Orlando, The Righteous Brothers, Tom Jones, Englebert Humperdink and Dion Warwick to name a few.


More recent performances have placed him alonside Jessica Simpson, Ashley Simpson, Rob Snyder, Peter McNichols, Bo Derek, Shaggy, and the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders.


Glenn teamed up with some of these celebrities to entertain our fighting men and women overseas for the U.S.O. His performances were accepted so enthusiastically by the troops that Gordon England, The Secretary of the Navy remarked, "Glenn Smith was the hit of the show."
Glenn performed at many Worlds Fairs as a featured Headliner.


His original compositions have been used in movie soundtracks and even recorded by Gladys Knight. He also has many television credits including the Famous "Tonight Show." He has an impressive history of TV performances including shows such as Merv Griffin, Mike Douglas, Dinah Shore and even Joey Bishop to name a few. All of those performances were blockbusters as his promotional video verifies.
Currently Glenn is contracted with large cruise ship companies such as Royal Caribbean International where he is placed in their celebrity headliner program, performing in large showrooms around the world. These venues are perfect for a Glenn Smith performance as he is presented in a state of the art setting accompanied by an orchestra.
